Defining Success

Filed under: Uncategorized — jhosselinner at 9:34 pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2008

Success, in my opinion, means having had set goals for yourself and despite all the obstacles you still achieve it. You give it your all and try your best so when you achieve that which you wanted, it means even more. I think that having an education, a stable job, health, and ect. does mean success, but if you are not happy or satisfied with your life then that means nothing. If you have all the money in the world but still are miserable, then what does that really mean? There will always be things that will make you upset, but if at the end of the day you can truly say that you are happy, then i think that really defines whether you are successful or not.

Hi!
I totally agree with your interpretation of “success”. I also think that being a knowledgeable person helps in the development of success. Being successful means so many things, and I think you summed it all up in your post.

I do agree with you. Defining success does mean setting goals and give it your all to achieve it. But there will always be something that you will be upset about. We both have something similar in the way we define success. One way we both define success is the part where you said about setting your goals and achieving them.;p vanessa

I agree with you. I have the same opinion you have. I do think that success is having some goals and achieing them in any possible way you can. There might be many definitions for success but you summed it all up in one paragraph.

I totally agree with your discription of success. I think we have something similar in defining success and I think that success can also be a method.
